Job Overview

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing fortnightly and semi-monthly payrolls, managing new hire data, terminations, compensation increases, and other payroll-related tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Process fortnightly and semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage all new hire data, including additions, terminations, compensation increases, and other payroll-related changes
  • Review and verify source reports and payroll sections for precision
  • Resolve issues and errors in a prompt and professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service support to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare manual payroll checks as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

  • A combination of education and experience will be considered, with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be authorized to work in the US, as described by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of payroll principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in payroll software systems (Ultipro experience is an asset)
