Kearney, Springfield, MO 65803)<br><br>Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis, until all vacancies are filled.<br><br><strong>Why You’ll Love This Position<br><br></strong>The facility operations crew worker performs minor or routine maintenance on building interiors, exteriors, and grounds. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision.<br><br>MoDOT will bring candidates onto the team as entry-level or senior level, based on your skills and experience. This opening is for a part-time position with annual hours up to but no more than 1040 hours per year. <strong>This position is not benefits-eligible and will work Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm until 1040 total hours have been worked.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform routine maintenance on building interiors, such as replacing light bulbs, switches and fuses; repair windows and blinds; and install floor and ceiling tile</li><li>Perform facility renovation, repair, and maintenance functions such as pouring and finishing concrete, roofing, painting and plastering, and installing carpet, sheetrock, and doors</li><li>Perform routine maintenance to plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems</li><li>Repair, move, and assemble file cabinets and furniture</li><li>Load and unload freight and deliver to appropriate office<br><br></li></ul><strong>Special Working Conditions:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Job requires heavy physical exertion and effort.</li><li>Job requires exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable environmental conditions.</li><li>Job may require operation of vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials. </li><li>Annual hours restricted to 1040 hours worked.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED/HiSET</li><li>Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.<br><br></li></ul>Visit our CAREERS page to explore all we have to offer.<br><br>At MoDOT you will play a key role in maintaining the seventh largest highway system in the United States.
