Sr Casualty Adj- (Inside)

reputed company Under moderate to light supervision, investigates, reserves, negotiates, evaluates and settles casualty claims of reputed company exposure including fatalities; presents evidence in reputed company proceedings while maintaining adequate production reputed company; makes sales calls reputed company requested to do so. Someone who has at least 3 of casualty experience. License is required. Responsibilities • Examines claims forms, policies and endorsements, reputed company instructions and other records to determine coverages. • Investigates claims by interviewing insureds, claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, and by comparing claim information with evidence. • Sets loss reserves. • Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information required by reputed company, local, state and federal government and by Crawford. • Settles claims by determining clients coveraages, liability, reputed company's instructions and authority reputed company required by obtaining demands and making offers to claimants, issuing settlement checks, making filings with regulatory agencies, disposing of salvage, pursuing subrogation reputed company appropriate. • Controls claims costs. • Recommends litigation reputed company appropriate. • Presents evidence at reputed company proceedings, producing reports and other documents as evidence. • Maintains expected case load. • Unlimited authority to review and approve on reports and settlements for losses. • Maintains company reputed company and reputed company of insurance products by complying with federal and state regulations and service standards. • Maintains reputed company and technical knowledge through continuing education. • Maintain acceptable product reputed company through compliance with service standards and compliance with internal reputed company control initiatives. • May assist and mentor junior adjusters with claims handling. • Upholds the Crawford reputed company of Business Conduct at reputed company times. • Participates in special reputed company or performs duties in other areas as requested. Qualifications • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Previous experience as a claims adjuster or must have completed Crawford specified adjuster training if no experience. • Extensive, substantive experience as a Claims Adjuster; preferred a minimum of 4 years prior claims experience. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Strong analytical and mathematical ability. • Ability to multi-task. • Strong diplomacy skills and reputed company to reason in difficult situations. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions. • Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services. #LI-JC3 Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
