Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative – Delivering Exceptional Support and Service to Diverse Customers

About the Role
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for responding to general to moderately complex telephone calls, troubleshooting and responding to customer issues, and providing exceptional support and service to our diverse customer base. You will be working remotely, but applicants within a 50-mile radius of our designated location will be required to visit our site to pick up equipment. If you live outside of this radius, don't worry – we will mail your equipment to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to general to moderately complex telephone calls and troubleshoot customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer telephone calls using an automated system and respond to general to moderately complex questions, forwarding calls to appropriate personnel as needed
- Research member or provider calls/inquiries and respond to appropriate parties in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Record calls in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ticketing solution, resolve customer requests/inquiries, and update CRM history with results of inquiry
- Interface with team personnel, management, and customers in reference to customer service issues, providing exceptional support and service at all times
- Conduct outbound calls to customers in response to customer direction or other business needs, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous
- Respond to numerous phone inquiries daily, using standard call-center technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers
- Assist callers in completing online applications, filling out timesheets, and adhering to privacy rules set forth by the programs we service
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs we service, reporting problems through an easy online system as needed
- Respond to telephone inquiries within set time parameters, ensuring that all customers receive prompt and efficient service
- Complete all assigned training as necessary, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one (1) year customer service experience required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and service to diverse customers
- Must submit speed test via speedtest.net, with download speeds of at least 60mbps and upload speed of at least 6mbps
- Experience working with computer software, customer relationship management tools, and telephone technology, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Experience working with and skilled in the use of help desk software, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ability to utilize problem-solving skills in complex situations, thinking critically and creatively to resolve customer issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a remote or call-center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and service to diverse customers
- Experience working with CRM software and help desk technology, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
