Mission and Role Overview

The mission of this role is to provide excellent customer service to clients, patients, and requestors, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. As a Remote Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for meeting daily goals, reporting any recurring issues to the Customer Service Manager, and aligning with our core values, culture, and overall CRAFT. Your primary objective will be to deliver outstanding customer experiences, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, patients, and requestors via phone calls, ensuring timely resolution of their inquiries and concerns.
  • Meet daily goals, including handling an average of 85 calls per day, with a focus on delivering accurate and concise information.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed notes are maintained in Med-Release for all actions taken.
  • Build strong, value-based relationships with customers, demonstrating a passion for customer interaction and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Resend or cancel invoices, reprocess orders for missing information, and obtain missing information for non-compliant requests from patients and requestors.
  • Perform data entry and other duties as assigned, working collaboratively with other departments to ensure requests are sent promptly.
  • Fax and email records securely to requestors, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build successful working relationships with requestors, clients, and co-workers. You should be detail-oriented, able to resolve customer issues in a timely manner, and demonstrate excellent follow-up skills and time management. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you should be proficient in computer skills, including software applications such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical records experience and knowledge of HIPAA are preferred but not required.
  • 1+ year of customer service or call center experience is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
