You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize database solutions that meet the needs of our business. Your expertise in database management and analytics will be essential in helping us to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and optimize database solutions to meet business requirements * Develop and maintain database schema, including data modeling and normalization * Write and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data * Perform database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, indexing, and performance tuning * Collaborate with development teams to ensure database solutions meet application requirements * Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and technical specifications * Participate in database performance monitoring and troubleshooting * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management and analytics **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 4+ years of experience in database management and analytics * Strong knowledge of database design, implementation, and optimization * Experience with SQL Server, including database administration and performance tuning * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud-based database solutions, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure * Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including Power BI and Tableau * Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell and Python * Certification in database administration, such as Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDA) * Experience with data governance and compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA **Skills and Competencies** * Strong technical skills in database management and analytics * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
