Job Overview
In this critical role, you will serve as an advocate for providers, responding to inquiries related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits (EOB), and behavioral health. Your expertise will be utilized to resolve complex issues through phone calls and concurrent chats, ensuring that our providers receive the support they need to deliver exceptional care. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for providers, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and concerns, and providing personalized support to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Engage with providers through multiple channels, including calls and chats, to address their inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
- Triage contacts from healthcare professionals, including physician offices, clinics, and billing offices, to ensure that their needs are met and their issues are resolved promptly.
- Conduct thorough research to dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues, collaborating with internal partners to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Navigate over 30 systems to extract necessary information, utilizing strong multitasking skills to resolve issues across multiple lines of business.
- Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, promoting faster resolutions and enhancing their overall experience with our services.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our requirements. These include:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a foundation in customer service and analysis.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns.
- Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
- A typing speed of 35-40 words per minute (WPM) with an accuracy of 90%, ensuring efficient and effective communication.
- The ability to work any full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shift between the hours of 10:35 AM - 7:05 PM CST from Monday - Friday, with flexibility to accommodate occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
