<strong>Position Title<br><br></strong>Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift<br><br><strong>Pay Rate<br><br></strong>$20.37/hr plus shift differential<br><br><strong>Retention Bonus<br><br></strong>$500 after 1 year<br><br>Additional lump sum after 2 years<br><br><strong>Category/Shift<br><br></strong>Hourly Full-Time (3pm-11:00pm)<br><br><strong>Physical Location</strong>:<br><br>Floater position between our Smyrna,TN warehouse and Murfreesboro,TN plant<br><br>Murfreesboro Container<br><br>2220 NW Broad St.<br><br>Murfreesboro, TN 37129<br><br><strong>The Job You Will Perform<br><br></strong>Being a Forklift driver requires the following abilities:<br><br>We are currently seeking hourly, Forklift Operators who have the abilities and aptitude to progress to the top job in the shipping/ receiving line of progression.<br><br><ul><li>This job requires physical exertion in a heavy, industrial environment (examples include reaching, twisting, exposure to extreme temperatures/ weather conditions, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.) </li><li>The Forklift Operator is required to move materials throughout the plant.</li><li>Prepare items for shipment, including passing or rejecting trailers that are unsafe for loading/unloading. This could mean mechanical defects, cleanliness of trailers or anything that would make it unsafe or cause a quality issue to load or unload the trailer.</li><li>Duties include shipping merchandise or material; receiving merchandise or materials.</li><li>This role requires the ability read and understand load tags as well as production information using certain computer programs.</li><li>As well as loading trailers for the transportation of products safely and accurately using IRF scanning/ loading systems.<br><br></li></ul>Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and must be available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
