Position Purpose

The role of a Customer Service/Sales associate at blithequark is multifaceted and critical to our success. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing sales with every customer in your department, ensuring a seamless and satisfying shopping experience.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, utilizing our training tools and resources to stay up-to-date on the latest offerings and trends.
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe for both customers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the Department Supervisor and other associates to achieve departmental goals, share knowledge, and support the overall success of the team.
  • Contribute to a safe working and shopping environment by adhering to all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and promptly addressing any hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Work effectively across various store departments, which may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental, to provide comprehensive support to our customers.

Essential Qualifications

To excel as a Customer Service/Sales associate at blithequark, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions.
