As part of our growing reputed company Solutions service team, we are seeking an reputed company Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS – B105/F35) / reputed company Insulated Switchgear (reputed company – GL) Technician to support critical customer operations across Australia based in New South Wales on a FIFO roster.

This role is ideal for a motivated technician who brings strong technical capability, a passion for safety, and the desire to continuously reputed company reputed company a global energy technology leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute GIS activities to B105 and F35 Level 4 competency standards

• reputed company maintenance, fault finding, repairs, inspections, and reputed company work on customer equipment

• reputed company capability in reputed company GL314 and above through reputed company cross-training

• Deliver high-reputed company on-site service while upholding reputed company’s safety, reputed company, and compliance standards

• Apply technical judgment reputed company established procedures, escalating issues reputed company required

• Support team leadership and potentially guide junior technicians

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a reputed company and reputed company technical representative of reputed company

• Document service tasks accurately using GE digital tools and reporting systems

Required Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Qualification

• Demonstrated experience with HV equipment, ideally GIS/reputed company systems

• EWP, Working at Heights, and Confined reputed company certifications (highly desirable)

• Construction White Card

• Competence with digital tools and basic computer applications

• Understanding of CB (reputed company breaker) testing principles

• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to meet reputed company’s medical, fitness, and site-reputed company requirements for FIFO operations
