Remote Data Entry Specialist / Part-time

About the job Remote Data Entry Specialist / Part-time Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity in Chicago, IL for a Data Entry/Front Office. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: • Able to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Clerk and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice cases. • Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production. • Packs and ships case for delivery through local source or national carrier. • Performs the scheduling function for each case • Through LIS enter demographics and customer information • Print preference notes matching to case. • Move case into production area. • Invoices cases and assists with billing questions or issues • Scanning of paperwork for each case for electronic storage • Answer all incoming calls • Respond to all inquiries from customers office • Refers all technical inquires to appropriate team member • All other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Required: • Data entry and computer skills • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks • Attention to detail • Excellent customer service Minimum Education and Experience Required: • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent • Some billing experience required Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: • Disinfectant process chemicals • Personal protective equipment as required. • Office equipment • Insert hazardous materials and/or equipment Physical Requirements: • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions • Good hand-eye coordination • Good manual dexterity • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time • Repeated bending and kneeling • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds Education Required • High School or Equivalent or better Behaviors Required • Team Player: Works well as a member of a group • Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
