Student Ministries Director

Job Summary The Student Ministries Director is responsible for all middle and high school ministry across all Epic locations; providing vision, strategy, teaching, and leadership while developing a passionate team to equip and inspire students to follow Jesus fully and live on mission for him. Responsibilities • Build the student ministry for the future. • Develop a model that works best in a city/multisite context. • Connects to students who are not yet part of the church. • Recruit, build, and develop the team. • Pastor your team members and help them grow spiritually. • Provide leadership, training, resources, and management to lead students well. • Create ministries that connect to students. • Provide spiritual leadership to students, both from you and your leaders. • Teach scripture in a way that is true to the text and engaging and applicable to youth. • Plan and execute events, gatherings, groups, and online content for students. • Provide opportunities to equip, support, and connect to parents. • And all the other fun stuff! • Develop a communications plan to ensure everyone knows what they need to know. • Measure what matters: maintain ministry metrics to track health and growth. • Manage the Student Ministry budget. • And of course, everyone’s favorite...other duties as assigned!
