About the Role Zenni is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Asset Coordinator to support and enhance the daily operations of our digital asset management (DAM) system. This role is ideal for someone with experience in digital content organization, metadata management, and creative workflows who's ready to take ownership of key DAM functions. In this position, you'll ensure that digital files - including images, videos, and other creative assets - are properly tagged, organized, and accessible across teams. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing, creative, and project management teams to streamline workflows, maintain metadata standards, and support efficient asset use throughout the organization. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Asset Management, you'll help optimize system performance, implement best practices, and contribute to the continued evolution of our DAM program. Responsibilities: • Manage the DAM system including uploading, tagging, and organizing all the digital assets in accordance with established metadata and taxonomy standards • Maintain consistent naming conventions, metadata quality, and asset categorization to ensure accuracy and discoverability • Serve as a point-of-contact for internal teams, supporting requests for asset retrieval, distribution, and usage across campaigns and projects • Conduct regular audits, quality control checks, and system maintenance to keep the DAM organized, up-to-date, and aligned with best practices • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and project management teams to clarify asset information, resolve metadata gaps, and ensure brand consistency • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of DAM documentation, training materials, and process improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience Basic Qualifications: • 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience (e.g., a Master of Library and Information Science degree) • Demonstrated understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and digital asset organization principles • Familiarity with common file formats (e.g., JPG, PNG, PSD, MP4, PDF) and their appropriate use across creative workflows • Experience with or interest in digital asset management platforms (e.g., Bynder); training will be provided • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, learn new systems quickly, and work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team Preferred Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or recently completed a certification in Digital Asset Management or a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) • Experience collaborating in creative environments, including work with graphic design, marketing, or creative agency teams • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) or 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya) and content management systems (CMS) is a plus • Hands-on experience with the Bynder DAM system • Experience in the eyewear industry, e-commerce, or retail digital asset workflows is desirable U.S. Perks & Benefits: • Annual Bonus Program • Healthcare: 100% premiums covered for medical, dental, and vision for employees (50% for dependents) • Basic Life and AD&D with option for additional voluntary coverage • Short and long term disability coverage • 401k with up to 4% match • EAP and Spring Health that gives you and dependents access to free therapy and coaching • Free access for you and your family to our digital wellness platform - Wellness Coach • Generous PTO in addition to our Week of Zen - the time between Christmas and New Year's to relax and recuperate • Fully Paid Parental Leave - 16 weeks for birthing and non-birthing parents • Family forming & fertility support and services through Maven • Annual Zenni Gift Card - to use towards our products! Compensation In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $69,000 - $86,300. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs.
