Job Description
Implementing FIX connectivity:
This involves setting up and configuring connections between trading systems using the FIX protocol,
ensuring proper session management (logon, heartbeat, logout), and handling message sequencing.
Developing and integrating trading applications:
Building applications that interact with various financial institutions using FIX messages to send orders,
receive execution reports, and manage trading activities.
Parsing and constructing FIX messages:
Understanding the structure of FIX messages, including header, body, and trailer, and correctly interpreting and
generating tag-value pairs for different message types (e.g., New Order Single, Execution Report, Quote Request).
Troubleshooting and debugging FIX issues:
Identifying and resolving problems related to FIX connectivity, message formatting, session state, and order flow.
