Integration Architect (Remote – Portugal) Full-time | Paid in USD | Full Benefits: Health Insurance, PTO, 401(k), Stock Option Potential Languages: Portuguese & English (fluent) Time Zone: Ability to work partially on CST About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of enterprise integrations within a modern SaaS ecosystem. This role plays a key part in modernizing legacy platforms, defining integration standards, and driving technical excellence across teams. Top Technical Requirements • Microservices Architecture • AWS (Lambda, SQS, ECS, API Gateway) • .NET Core, C#, Angular • Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs Key Responsibilities • Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. • Collaborate with customer technology teams to gather integration specs and requirements. • Architect and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable integrations with enterprise systems (SAP, MES, ERP, HRIS, etc.). • Design and develop microservices using .NET Core and AWS cloud technologies. • Lead the migration of legacy applications into a modern modular platform. • Define and enforce integration best practices, API standards, and event-driven architecture patterns. • Work closely with Product, SRE, Customer Success, and PMO to align priorities and ensure successful delivery. • Mentor developers, provide technical leadership, and oversee solution architecture. • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for architecture, APIs, and data contracts. Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in software development, with strong emphasis on integration architecture. • Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and Angular. • Solid experience with AWS cloud-native services (Lambda, SQS, ECS, API Gateway). • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns. Fluency in Portuguese and English; comfortable working partially in CST. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience. Preferred Qualifications • Experience integrating with systems like SAP PM, eMaint, PAS-X, TrakSys, Workday, Success Factors, or Power BI. • Familiarity with iPaaS or automation platforms. • Understanding of enterprise security and data governance. • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Architect).
