Job description: Title: API Security Engineer Location: 100% remote in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia. Required Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field • At least 10 years of experience in IT or a related field that includes Software Development, API security, or application security • Experience with security testing techniques such as SAST, DAST, and open-source component analysis is preferred. • Mobile security experience, including knowledge of secure mobile app development. • Experience with compliance requirements such as GDPR, PCI, HIPAA, etc. • Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions and APIs • Technologies such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, API Security, and Application Security.
