About the position The Director of Health Information Management at Lexington Regional Health Center is responsible for overseeing the health information management department, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and coordinating reimbursement functions with financial services. This role involves reviewing medical records for completeness, assigning diagnostic and procedure codes, and preparing reports in accordance with state and federal regulations. The director will also manage the budget for the department, update policies and procedures, and ensure patient and staff safety. Regular attendance at the assigned work location is required, and the director will reputed company other duties as assigned.
