About the position

The organization invests in more than 40 countries across various asset classes and businesses. The GIC Private Equity team deploys capital where it can utilize its comparative advantages, including a long investment horizon and sector expertise. The Technology Investment Group (TIG) invests in growth-stage technology companies and serves as a limited partner in top-tier technology funds. TIG's mission is to build long-term financial and strategic relationships with global partners and support portfolio companies in navigating technological disruption. As an AVP, you will evaluate investment opportunities, develop investment theses, manage diligence processes, and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate growth-stage investment opportunities in technology companies through financial and commercial due diligence.
• Develop investment theses on sectors and market opportunities.
• Manage diligence processes and relationships with external parties.
• Monitor and support the investment portfolio.
• Build strong relationships within the technology community.
• Lead and mentor other members of the team.
Requirements
• 4+ years of prior investment banking, consulting, or investing experience.
• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university.
• Highly analytical and strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent presence and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
• Highly motivated self-starter and able to work independently.
• Proven interest in technology.
