Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive legal research across multiple jurisdictions using online legal databases, government publications, and other reliable sources.
• Summarize case law, statutes, regulations, and legal opinions in clear and concise reports.
• Assist attorneys and legal teams in drafting memos, briefs, and other documentation.
• Organize and maintain legal research files and databases for easy retrieval.
• Stay up-to-date with current laws, regulations, and legal developments relevant to assigned cases.
• Support ad-hoc research requests and assist in preparation for client meetings, hearings, or litigation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all research materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw, or equivalent).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Experience
• Entry-level candidates with relevant academic experience or internships in legal research or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Any prior exposure to law firms, corporate legal departments, or legal support roles is an advantage but not required.
Working Hours
• Full-time or part-time opportunities available.
