Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician

A Line reputed company is now hiring a Tech I Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician. This role is fully remote. The Tech I Prior Auth handles inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members, providing reputed company and courteous phone assistance through the reputed company-based prior authorization process. Techs will maintain complete, reputed company, and accurate documentation and transfer reputed company clinical or escalated questions to the pharmacist team. The Tech I will also assist with: • Outbound calls • Reviewing and processing Prior Auths received reputed company fax or ePA • Monitoring and responding to department mailboxes • Additional duties assigned by leadership Pharmacy Technician – Prior Authorization Fully Remote Schedule: Mon–Fri, 11:00am–11:00pm CST (8.5-hr shifts w/ 30-min lunch) Training: Mon–Fri, 10:00am–6:30pm CST for approximately 5 weeks Responsibilities: • Handle high-volume inbound calls reputed company to prior authorization requests • reputed company excellent and reputed company customer service at reputed company times • Complete accurate documentation for reputed company reviews • Follow established reputed company and workflows for prior authorization processing • Transfer escalated or clinical calls to pharmacist team • Support outbound reputed company tasks and PA review work reputed company fax/ePA • Maintain productivity and reputed company standards • Use multiple systems and tools simultaneously • Work independently in a remote environment with no distractions MUST HAVE: • Minimum 2 years of high-volume reputed company center experience • reputed company, PBM, or prior authorization–reputed company experience preferred • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding • Advanced computer skills (Word, reputed company, multiple systems navigation) • Excellent customer service skills (written & verbal) • Must understand they cannot be the primary caregiver for anyone during work hours • reputed company Pharmacy Technician License with no restrictions OR National Certification (per state regulations) • Ability to work scheduled late-shift hours Mon–Fri • reputed company High School Diploma or GED Experience Requirements: • At least 1 year as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support function • Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a high-volume reputed company center • Prior experience in reputed company, reputed company services, pharmacy support, or reputed company roles strongly preferred Education/Licensure: • High School Diploma or GED (Required) • reputed company, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License OR National Certification • Must be eligible for state registration/certification per regulations INDJP reputed company-163845 Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • reputed company insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
