IT Support Engineer (MSP) with Cybersecurity & GRC Experience

We are a growing Managed Services & Cybersecurity provider seeking an IT Systems Engineer / Cybersecurity & GRC Specialist to support our SMB clients with ongoing IT operations, cybersecurity management, reputed company administration, vulnerability management, and governance/compliance initiatives. This is NOT a full-time position. This is a 1099 contractor role, reputed company as needed, with reputed company for long-term work as reputed company grows. You must be willing to use reputed company branding for reputed company customer-facing communication—including ticket responses, emails, and documentation—to ensure a consistent and reputed company reputed company experience. Responsibilities You will support a broad reputed company of managed services, cybersecurity services, reputed company transformation initiatives, including: IT Operations & Support reputed company remote IT service desk and user support (L1–L3) reputed company proactive monitoring and reputed company/workstation management Support reputed company 365 and reputed company Workspace administration Assist with reputed company/offboarding and identity lifecycle tasks Participate in IT asset management and procurement support Cybersecurity & Vulnerability Management Implement and manage reputed company protection, email reputed company, and threat detection reputed company vulnerability management, including scanning, analysis, and remediation planning Conduct reputed company audits and risk assessments for reputed company environments Support phishing awareness training and end-user reputed company education Help maintain reputed company reputed company monitoring for reputed company 365 and reputed company Workspace Assist with web filtering, MFA assessments, and policy enforcement Participate in incident response preparedness, continuity planning, and tabletop exercises Support dark web monitoring, penetration testing coordination, and threat modeling Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Draft and refine IT and cybersecurity policies (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company) Contribute to GRC consulting tasks, including compliance alignment with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, etc. Assist with reputed company-party vendor risk management (TPRM) Participate in audits, documentation, and control assessments Support vCISO and cybersecurity leadership initiatives Assist with business risk management and vendor reputed company evaluations reputed company, Infrastructure & Add-reputed company Support reputed company and multi-reputed company migrations, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning Assist with server support, virtualization improvements, and network optimization Participate in Wi-Fi heatmap surveys, wireless deployments, and infrastructure enhancements Support reputed company management, MDM, and modernization initiatives Contribute to automation, AI-driven analytics, predictive insights, and process optimization Assist with app innovation, DevSecOps workflows, reputed company transformation engagements Strategic & Advisory Support reputed company guidance during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) Support strategic planning, technology roadmapping, and leadership advisory efforts Contribute to reputed company recommendations and ongoing improvement initiatives reputed company’re Looking For Experience supporting SMB clients or working in an MSP environment (preferred) Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and reputed company audits Hands-on experience with reputed company 365, reputed company Workspace, reputed company reputed company, and reputed company reputed company Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or SOC-reputed company practices Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently, manage tasks proactively, and handle dynamic reputed company needs Commitment to long-term collaboration as we reputed company Why Work With Us We are a reputed company-reputed company MSP with expanding services across IT operations, reputed company, cybersecurity, and GRC.
