Sr. Insights Consultants are responsible for tackling dynamic and challenging business problems with hands-on quantitative and qualitative project execution.
Sr. Insights Consultants (Open to Remote) report to a Insights & Strategy Operations Team Lead and partner closely with researchers at all levels, as well as Practice Leaders, Data and Analytics Experts, and the Field Management Team.

Responsibilities and Expectations
Client Services
Adhere to CMB’s defined approaches, processes, and best practices
Take advantage of training and development opportunities
Contribute to a team and/or committee for ongoing CMB initiatives
Follow CMB- and client-specific Information Security Policies
Ensure end-to-end client/project delivery in alignment with Sales & Account Management leading to high client satisfaction with project deliverables
Essential Duties
Effectively communicate with Insights Associates, Senior Insights Associates, peers, and other senior staff
Become an expert for assigned key client accounts and integrate competitive, client, and industry information throughout project execution
Anticipate and identify project problems and find solutions independently or with moderate guidance
Assist in the planning, scoping, and pricing of project work with minimal guidance and input from Project and Senior Consultants
Onboard and mentor new CMB talent
As the Project Lead:
Manage entire project lifecycle for quantitative and qualitative research
Typically assigned to a mix of more moderate and highly complex projects
Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and manage all internal and client-facing project-related meetings
Monitor project budget, work plan, profitability, as well as project and billings schedule, to meet or exceed targets
Lead and collaborate with project team on writing questionnaires, developing tab and analysis plans, creating weighting schemes, reviewing advanced analytics outputs, developing report templates, populating and proofing data, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing clear and actionable report summaries and implications
Oversee internal project team members who are responsible for checking online survey programs, facilitating data collection/qual. fieldwork and monitoring sample quotas, coordinating with vendors, programming and proofing data tables, conducting advanced analytics, and populating and proofing client reports
Develop the “story” of each research project, crafting a compelling summary that utilizes visuals with guidance and input from Project and Senior Consultants
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Applied Economics, Political Science, or related field
Minimum 5 years of professional market research experience or demonstrated success as an Insights Consultant at CMB
Minimum of 2 years independently managing multiple custom market research projects
Advanced understanding of market research methods with applied knowledge of primary research techniques (e.g., trade-off designs, factor analysis, driver modeling)
Excellent communication skills
Experience delegating to, managing, and influencing teams and individuals
Excellent at establishing and managing relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers
Extremely high attention to detail
Excellent at managing multiple projects, establishing priorities, and time management
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Moderate knowledge/experience with project management or financial software
Experience with at least one research platform or data management/analysis software package (e.g., MarketSight, Qualtrics, Q, SPSS, SQL, Alteryx) preferred
Sense of humor and self-awareness
Travel
