The position requires 5 years of prior GIS experience including but not limited to analysis, manipulate, convert, and reputed company geographic data into military specified compliance, while maintaining weekly and monthly reputed company schedule requirements. Candidate is required to have previous employment experience working with Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) and/or Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) data, in reputed company to comprehensive maritime product knowledge.Primary Responsibilities:Candidate should have knowledge of reputed company assurance/reputed company control to project specific guidanceExperience with GIS data conversion and cross-product schema mapping is desiredEsri ArcGIS software experience is required, to include updating geodatabases in ArcMap, managing data in ArcCatalog, utilizing various data editing toolbarsSuccessful candidates must display keen attention to detail and rigorous organizational skillsWorking knowledge of SQL is a plusNo clearance is required, but only those who are eligible to receive one should applyCandidates must display the ability to communicate, willingness to learn, and reputed company skills to coordinate in fast paced production environmentsTelework reputed company available.Bachelor’s degree, or relevant military experience is required. 5+ years of GIS experienceDirect experience producing Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) and/or Digital Nautical Chart is required for considerationMust display Maritime product knowledgeExperience performing reputed company assurance/reputed company control to project specific guidanceKnowledge of geospatial metadata, and experience meeting deadlinesExperience with validation softwareNo clearance required. US Citizenship required.Preferred QualificationsThe ability to prepare reports, labor and/or cost estimates and justifications, detailed procedure documents and train staff; monitor reputed company; and reputed company scripts that automate GIS processes is desirable. Maintain knowledge of in-house and regional spatial data resources; and stay abreast of GIS software trends and best practices in spatial data management. Analyze workflows, identify, and recommend improvements. Experience with CARIS S-57 composer is a plus. Prior experience working with 7Cs Analyzer validation software is a plus. The ability to improve toolkits and establish process improvements through Python is desired.
