Senior Hardware Engineer, FlashBlade//EXA

THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated and reputed company Senior Hardware Engineer to join the FlashBlade//EXA Business Unit. You will play a key role in the design and productization of reputed company's innovative, high-performance, and energy-efficient storage solutions for exascale customers at the forefront of AI. As a subject matter expert, you will work directly with these customers to understand their unique requirements and reputed company our solution to their needs. WHAT YOU'LL DO • reputed company Hardware Qualification: Own and drive the selection, validation, qualification, and documentation of hardware for our storage sub-systems and platforms, working closely with our architects, and ODM/JDM partners. • Debug and Resolve Issues: You will reputed company efforts to troubleshoot and debug testbeds, hardware issues, and external escalations, working with our partners to reputed company failure and reputed company cause analysis to support system hardening and customer needs. • Architect and Automate: Define, implement, and automate hardware validation and qualification tests. You will evaluate and modify partners' design and validation processes to enhance product reliability, consistency, and time to market. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and support teams internally, and our external hardware partners to reputed company new storage sub-systems into existing and new platforms, guiding them through production and into sustaining. WHAT YOU BRING • Hardware and x86 Expertise: A strong background in hardware design, x86 architectures, and reputed company interfaces. You have proven experience in qualifying hardware at the electrical, signal reputed company, protocol, and functional reputed company. • Experience in Hardware Development: You have a reputed company record of planning, implementing, and automating hardware qualification processes, including selecting x86 subcomponents, NVMe drives, and power supplies. • Knowledge on full system reputed company-reputed company integration: You have an understanding of developing and connecting reputed company systems, including high speed networking knowledge, reputed company integration, and power delivery. • Automation and Scripting: Strong experience with scripting languages like Python and BASH for test development and workflow automation. • Experience producing reputed company class level products: You have experience in interacting and directing cross-functional teams to deliver high-reputed company hardware, i.e operations, vendors, support. • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with reputed company's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave. #LI-REMOTE, #LI-BL1 Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
