Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support
Job description
We are currently seeking a numbers/data/excel savvy candidate to join our team as a full time Project Associate to support our Garden City Office based team. This position is a hybrid position with mixed remote and in office work. 2/3 days on off mix. Jzanus Consulting is a leading provider of Health Information Management and Revenue Integrity Services. As part of the Revenue Recovery Department you will assist and work with a team of registered nurses, coding professionals and billing professionals to help ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to.
Job Duties to include but not limited to:
Project associate related duties including but not limited to:
Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems
Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits.
extracting/entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems
Making Phone Calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients
Running and Creating reports
Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by recovery team
Scanning and indexing of documents
