Associate Energy Efficiency Consultant, New Construction (Hybrid)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Manages the integration of activities between the customer, other business partners, advisory consultants, and vendors/contractors.
• Provides direction or technical project expertise to customers and coordinates available resources specific to the procurement and installation of energy- or carbon-saving measures, strategies, and systems.
• Review and approve moderately complex projects, which require an understanding of engineering analysis/calculations, implementation strategies for new technologies, energy simulation modeling.
• Prepare and maintain data reports to assist team with program management and customer support.
• Partner with colleagues to implement Energy Efficiency programs and related initiatives in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Review project documentation and application materials to confirm all required supporting materials are provided by the program deadline in order to fulfill program participation parameters.
• Facilitate achievement of energy efficiency and decarbonization goals by promoting related programs and initiatives to assigned customers/customer segments.
• Partner with Energy Efficiency teammates across various departments, including Sales and Marketing to set an energy efficiency implementation path and strategy for customer participation.
• Participate in an environment of continuous improvement and innovation with respect to program design, project coordination and internal/external processes.
• Generate customer and design team interest in program participation by doing outreach, delivering presentations, and leading meetings.
• Partner and collaborate with other Mass Save, Energize CT, or NH Saves Program Administrators to deliver coordinated electric and gas incentives and optimize customer service.
Requirements
• Requires fundamental understanding of building energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies and strategies.
• Requires solid understanding of financial principals and the ability to proficiently use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Requires excellent communication and project management skills.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in technical marketing, sales, sustainable business, construction management, engineering, architecture, energy efficiency, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Zero (0) plus years of experience. Relevant experience in mechanical/electrical engineering, commercial construction, project management or energy efficiency and customer service is desired.
