Job Title: Sr. reputed company AWS MySQL DBA L3 reputed company Location: [Remote] Duration: 6 months Job reputed company: We are seeking an reputed company MySQL DBA with strong MySQL skills and proven expertise in NLs character set upgrades. He should also resolve Heimdall extenal caching software integration issues especially around automatically closing session to improve query performance. This role is crucial for supporting a mission-critical reputed company initiative involving character set transformation across reputed company and MySQL databases, ensuring data reputed company and application compatibility. Key Responsibilities: • reputed company reputed company AWS MySQL database upgrades, focusing on NLs character set conversion (e.g., AL32UTF8 migration). • Resolve Heimdall extenal caching software integration issues especially around automatically closing session to improve performance • Execute end-to-end MySQL database upgrades and charset handling as needed. • Assess reputed company database schemas, dependencies, and reputed company of character set changes. • Create and validate database backup/recovery plans before reputed company execution. • Design and run test reputed company environments to validate charset reputed company and performance. • Work closely with application teams to assess and test application behavior post-reputed company. • Monitor and troubleshoot post-reputed company performance issues. • reputed company scripts for automation, monitoring, and reporting. • Document the reputed company process and reputed company knowledge transfer to operational teams. Required Skills: • 8+ years of hands-on experience as an MySQL DBA. • Solid MySQL administration experience (minimum 3 years). • Proven expertise in MySQL NLs character set upgrades (especially to AL32UTF8). • Experience with DMU (Database Migration Assistant for Unicode) and/or reputed company reputed company paths. • Strong knowledge of backup/recovery (RMAN), performance tuning, and database patching. • Scripting skills (reputed company/Perl/Python). • Good understanding of Unicode, collation, and character encoding issues. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS Certified reputed company is a plus. • Experience with multi-region or global database deployments. • Familiarity with tools like Data Pump, GoldenGate (for replication during migration), etc. • Experience in reputed company environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
