[Remote] Senior Product Manager, Database Core (US-East Coast)

As a Senior Product Manager, Database Core, you will shape the strategy and drive the product roadmap for Exasol's core database components, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. Responsibilities • Define product strategy and roadmap for database core • Interface with engineering managers and drive product documents for upcoming engineering cycles to ensure roadmap execution • Interact with customers to drive real customer centricity • Manage stakeholders and drive internal alignment • Analyze the market to stay ahead of the game and to define true differentiators • Evangelize the product at events and conferences Skills • 5 years of experience in a PM position for an analytical database, query engine, or big data platform • Deep knowledge in areas such as compiler, optimizer, engine, storage management • Customer-first mentality to drive true customer value • Taking ownership for the success of one's own product domain • Skilled in both on-premises and modern cloud architectures • Hands-on SQL skills as well as data science experience Benefits • Monthly home office allowance • Volunteering options • Floating days • Secure pension plans (location-dependent) Company Overview • Exasol redefine how you work with data.
