Senior Hedge Fund Auditor (or Tax)

Role Description This remote full-time or part-time contract roll (weekly hourly range can be as low as 4 hours) as a Senior Hedge Fund Auditor (or Tax) is based in Denver, CO. The Senior Hedge Fund Auditor will be responsible for leading and conducting audits of hedge funds, private equity funds, and other investment vehicles. Responsibilities include planning and executing audit engagements, preparing financial statements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. The role involves conducting audits from start to finish that are in line with industry standards. Qualifications • Strong expertise in auditing hedge funds, PE/VC funds and other investment vehicles (SPVs), financial reporting, and risk assessment • Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving skills related to investment and financial data from different fund admins • Detailed knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards • CPA license or equivalent professional certification preferred • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in auditing within the hedge fund industry and/or the PE/VC sector • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
