Quantitative Analyst I – Risk Rating Model Development

Employer Industry: Banking and Financial Services Why consider this job opportunity: - Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization - Work remotely from various states across the U.S. - Competitive and thoughtfully designed benefits program - Engage in meaningful work by developing risk rating models for commercial loans - Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and enhance risk rating models for commercial loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards - Gather and analyze internal and external financial and loan-level data for model development - Maintain comprehensive documentation of model development processes - Facilitate the model validation process with the bank’s Model Risk Management team - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate developed models into the bank's systems What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis - Strong proficiency in statistical modeling techniques and programming languages such as SAS and Python - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Proficiency with bolthires Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics - Demonstrated expertise in supervised and unsupervised algorithms applied to quantitative risk modeling - Solid understanding of core statistical concepts, including probability distribution and hypothesis testing - Hands-on experience in data cleaning, feature engineering, and implementing statistical or machine learning models #Banking #QuantitativeAnalysis #RemoteWork # CareerGrowth #StatisticalModeling We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
