NodeJS Developer - Remote

Job Title: Node.js Backend Developer Location: 100% Remote (East Coast / Orlando preferred) Duration: 1-Year (3-Year Project) IV Process: Video Interview Overview The client is building enterprise-scale backend microservices for a large systems integration initiative within its Food & Beverage mobile platform. The backend team develops RESTful APIs relied upon by multiple teams to deliver seamless guest experiences. This role is strictly backend (no front-end or full-stack work). Responsibilities • Design, build, maintain, and document RESTful APIs and backend microservices • Develop services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and QE teams in a Scaled Agile environment • Ensure APIs are scalable, reliable, and consumable by dependent systems • Apply best practices, including Unit Testing and TDD • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts Required Skills • 5+ years of backend development experience • Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs / microservices • Experience with NoSQL databases (CouchDB or MongoDB preferred) • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies • Strong communication skills Nice to Have • Docker, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch • Swagger/OpenAPI • Jenkins, MSSQL Not Required • Front-end or mobile development • Full-stack experience Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
