This remote, part-time role involves editing AI-generated content for grammatical accuracy and conducting thorough fact-checking to ensure factual integrity. Responsibilities • Edit AI-generated responses for clarity, flow, tone, and strict adherence to grammatical rules, ensuring the output reads as if written by a professional human • Conduct comprehensive fact-checking of claims made by the AI, verifying names, dates, scientific data, and historical events against authoritative sources • Identify and correct "hallucinations" (instances where the AI confidently states false information), ensuring the model is provided with the correct facts and citations • Rewrite content that is factually accurate but poorly phrased to improve readability and user engagement • Evaluate the credibility of sources used by the AI (if applicable) and flag unreliable or biased information Skills • Proven experience in professional editing, copy editing, journalism, or research-heavy writing roles • Exceptional command of English grammar and style, with the ability to edit according to specific guides (e.g., AP Style, Chicago) • Strong research skills with the ability to quickly and accurately verify information across a wide range of topics • A healthy skepticism and an 'eagle eye' for detail, ensuring that no factual error or typo slips through • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects Benefits • Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule.
