Medical Quality Assurance Representative - (Remote work)

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with a nursing background to join our team as a QA Specialist, assisting in quality assurance, documentation review, and compliance monitoring for clinical records. Key Responsibilities: • Review and audit clinical documents including OASIS, 485 Plan of Care, and visit notes for accuracy and compliance • Coordinate with the clinical advisor regarding changes or updates to documentation • Provide clinicians with feedback and education related to documentation improvement and regulatory standards • Quality check therapy and social worker notes to ensure they align with the Plan of Care • Post visits into the EMR system for billing once QA is complete • Monitor timeliness of clinical submissions to meet Medicare and agency standards • Maintain logs, reports, and QA data for internal tracking and audits • Detect deficiencies or problems in patient charts and flag them appropriately • Prepare monthly QA and Performance Improvement reports including adverse event reviews, staff education records, and documentation audits • Participate in quality improvement meetings and collaborate with the CEO, Case Managers, and clinical teams Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent (RN or LVN preferred) • Prior experience with QA in a home health, clinical, or virtual healthcare setting • Familiarity with EMR systems, OASIS documentation, and Medicare compliance • Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking skills • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written • Must have a stable internet connection and professional home office setup • Willingness to work night shifts (U.S. time zone) • Must have computer, noise cancelling headset.
