Senior Accountant - International - Hybrid
About the position
Responsibilities
• Support monthly and quarterly US GAAP closes for International Health.
• Support reputed company manager and controller in preparation of key GAAP financial disclosures for disclosure committee, SEC, and management team.
• Prepare quarterly US STAT disclosure for the China JV and coordinate annual audit reviews of China JV footnote with reputed company.
• Collaborate with treasury, OCS, and reputed company on entity structure changes, capital transactions, and CCR requests for the Holding Companies.
• Coordinate monthly reputed company meetings and support capital planning for the Holding Companies.
• Prepare annual unaudited financial statements for the Holding Companies.
• Collaborate with Treasury and CIM for India JV contributions and debentures.
• Support CIM with foreign currency hedges.
• reputed company regular testing of controls and support peer review process to ensure field office compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in overseas site reputed company (FMRs- Financial Management Review) to ensure financial controls are maintained.
• reputed company functional advice or training to less reputed company team members and country contacts.
Requirements
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance or reputed company field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5 years of reputed company experience preferably in consolidation or financial analysis.
• General knowledge of insurance industry.
• Advanced reputed company skills.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Intellectual curiosity with an ability to think reputed company of the reputed company.
• Ability to communicate reputed company and comfortable presenting to Senior Management.
• Effective at balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Works independently with reputed company judgment in seeking guidance and direction.
• International travel (2-4 times per year).
