Social Media Manager - Los Angeles Based (Contract – Nightlife & Events)

Job Type: • Part-Time • Independent Contractor (1099) • Biweekly Delivery-Based Payment Pay: • $2,000-$3,000 /month • Paid biweekly based on completed deliverables • Bonuses available for high performance (e.g., ad results, ticket sales, growth) Location: • Based in Los Angeles (DTLA preferred) • Hybrid: Remote weekday/office work + weekend nights on-site for event content (Friday/Saturday) About the Role: We’re a hospitality group operating top-tier nightlife venues in Downtown LA, including La Reserve and The Catwalk. We’re seeking a highly creative, digitally fluent contractor who can help build our brand and drive engagement across multiple platforms. This role blends content creation, digital advertising, design, and communication, and it’s ideal for someone who’s hands-on, organized, and has their finger on the pulse of what’s hot online. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Event Coverage • Capture Reels, Stories, and video content on-site during weekend events (fri or sat) • Edit content for posting using apps like CapCut, InShot, Canva, or Premiere • Post engaging content across IG & TikTok during the week Campaign Management • Design flyers and promo graphics for weekly events • Create and schedule email and SMS campaigns (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.) • Set up and manage Instagram/Facebook/Google ad campaigns, monitor spend, and track ROI • Setup Eventbrite ticket links • Text blasts Digital Community & Admin • Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and social media questions • Organize and upload content, calendars, and reports in Google Drive • Maintain basic posting schedule and engagement tracking Required Skills & Tools: • Strong eye for visual design and storytelling • Experience creating content and managing Instagram, TikTok, and Meta Ads • Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar) • Familiarity with email/SMS platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, SlickText, etc.) • Comfortable navigating Google Drive, Docs, Sheets • Strong written communication and attention to detail • Comfortable on-site in fast-paced nightlife environments Bonus Points If You: • Have experience working in nightlife, live events, or entertainment • Are plugged into DJ/promoter scenes and social trends • Have launched successful Reels, TikToks, or viral campaigns • Can manage simple video editing or photography Work Structure & Payment: • Independent contractor (1099) • Paid biweekly based on completed deliverables • Deliverables may include: Reels, ad campaign setup + report, email/SMS campaigns, event flyer, content calendar Apply tot his job Apply To this Job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
