About the Customer Service Representative Role

In this critical role, you will play a vital part in resolving member concerns while ensuring requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will be given a structured protocol and scripts to document conversations, ensuring consistency in scheduling, modifying, and canceling customer reservations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will speak with members daily, answering their transportation questions and supporting them in their journey towards positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and document customer concerns, ensuring all relevant information is correct and processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all company procedures are followed, maintaining high standards of service quality.
  • Input accurate trip data into our systems, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to producing high-quality work, referring unresolved customer grievances to the designated department for further investigation and resolution.
  • Multitask effectively and efficiently to extract necessary information from multiple systems, reviewing and educating members on our services and their insurance coverage.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 0-2 years of related experience, with 6+ months of contact center experience or customer service experience.
  • Strong organization skills, written, and verbal communication skills, with all system documentation in English.
  • Ability to type 35wpm or more, answering a high volume of calls (up to 100+ calls per day).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work overtime as required, with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Prior experience in a remote work environment, with a proven ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Certifications or training in customer service, call center operations, or a related field.

Compensation and Perks

To work from home, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • High-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 25MBPS and upload speed of 5MBPS.
  • Ability to directly hardwire to your modem.
  • A dedicated work area that is separated from other living areas and provides privacy to review company-sensitive documents securely.
