Location: Remote Role Type: Contract / Ongoing Project-Based Industry: Destination Weddings / Travel / Communications About the Opportunity We’re seeking a skilled PR & Internal Communications Writer to support a series of high-impact projects throughout the year, including major partnership announcements, collaboration releases, a full branding overhaul, and internal messaging that aligns teams across our organization. This role is ideal for a writer who understands brand voice, can translate strategy into clear communications, and knows how to craft compelling narratives for media, clients, and internal stakeholders. As our dedicated contractor, you'll create press releases, internal updates, and partner communications that reflect our refreshed identity and help us tell our story with consistency and clarity. What You’ll Do Write polished press releases for: New brand collaborations and strategic partnerships Public rollout of our 2025 branding and visual identity Product updates, service launches, or company milestones Develop clear and engaging internal communication pieces, including: Department-wide announcements and alignment updates Internal briefs explaining new branding, processes, or initiatives Messaging for cross-team communication and internal adoption Draft communication packages for resort partners and external stakeholders, explaining new offerings, brand changes, or content initiatives Ensure consistent tone, clarity, and accuracy across all written materials Translate leadership direction, project updates, and branding guidelines into professional, readable content work collaboratively with marketing, leadership, and creative teams to refine messaging and meet deadlines Requirements Proven experience writing press releases and corporate communications — portfolio required Strong understanding of brand voice, narrative framing, and communication strategy Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Experience working in PR, communications, content strategy, or journalism Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments Comfort collaborating with multiple departments and adapting feedback Knowledge of the travel, hospitality, or destination wedding space is a plus Nice-to-Haves Familiarity with SEO-friendly formatting for digital PR Experience creating communication playbooks or messaging frameworks Ability to simplify complex brand or operational updates for a broad audience Background working with hospitality brands, travel companies, or event-based businesses Compensation Project-based or monthly retainer options available Rates dependent on experience and project scope Opportunity for ongoing work across multiple initiatives throughout the year How to Apply Please send: A brief introduction Your portfolio or samples of press releases and internal communication work Your availability for ongoing assignments Preferred compensation structure Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
