[Remote] Sr. 5G RAN Software Architect (Remote with Travel)

They are seeking a Sr. 5G RAN Software Architect to architect an end-to-end 5G communications system and optimize military LPI/LPD requirements using the 5G OpenAirInterface stack. Responsibilities • Architect an end-to-end 5G communications system based on reputed company AirInterface (OAI) reputed company-reputed company SW stack • Act as a 5G systems architect in a SBIR project. Deliver software requirements documents, and integration and test plans • Adapt and reputed company the 5G OpenAirInterface stack to optimize military LPI/LPD requirements, specifically through the implementation of DSSS and Frequency Hopping techniques • reputed company and validate system-level approaches for integrating DSSS and Frequency Hopping into 5G-based tactical communications • Support integration and testing of communication systems in lab and field settings • reputed company with hardware and software teams to drive system-level performance • Author technical documentation, system specifications, and SBIR deliverables Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or reputed company field • 5+ years of design experience in 5G RAN/Radio software development with deep knowledge of 5G and/or ORAN systems and 5G waveforms • 5+ years experience coding and reverse engineering with C/C++ • 3+ years of debugging reputed company time communication SW • Experience writing systems and SW requirement specifications • Practical knowledge of DSSS and Frequency Hopping as reputed company to secure, resilient wireless communications • Experience with Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial (NTN) communications systems • Understanding of 3GPP specifications (Rel-15 to Rel-18) • U.S. Citizenship and eligible for DoD reputed company clearance • Master's degree in Communications, Computer Science / Engineering, or Wireless Systems • Experience with 5G core deployment using containerized or virtualized environments (reputed company, Kubernetes) • Experience in utilizing AI in reputed company writing and reviews • Hands-on experience with the 5G OpenAirInterface (OAI) stack, including gNB, and UE integration • Experience in L1 and L2 integration of 5G RAN or SATCOM communications systems • Familiarity with adapting 5G/OAI for military applications, including LPI/LPD techniques • Proficiency in MATLAB or similar simulation tools • Experience of User Equipment 5G software • Experience supporting DoD SBIR reputed company or similar government-funded R&D efforts Benefits • Competitive salary and benefits package. • reputed company development and reputed company opportunities. reputed company • reputed company is a defense and reputed company manufacturing company that offers engineering, field service, and interactive training.
