Key Responsibilities Threat Monitoring & Analysis • Continuously monitor cloud environments, network traffic, and endpoints for indicators of compromise (IOCs) • Perform real-time and retrospective log analysis using SIEM platforms • Leverage automation and orchestration tools for faster threat detection and response Vulnerability Assessment & Risk Mitigation • Conduct vulnerability scans and interpret results to prioritize risk • Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to implement remediation strategies • Track open issues, validate patches, and verify configuration changes Incident Response & Forensics • Lead investigations of security incidents, including malware infections, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access • Document response workflows and conduct post-incident reviews to strengthen future defense. • Coordinate containment and recovery efforts using threat intelligence and behavioral analytics. Policy Compliance & Governance • Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 • Help draft and enforce security policies, access controls, and audit protocols. • Support internal and external audits with timely documentation and reporting. Work Environment This is a 100% remote role designed to support work-from-home cybersecurity professionals across all U.S. time zones.
