Backend Engineer (TypeScript, GCP) — Reliable Data Pipelines & reputed company
We’re building a backend system that ingests, processes, and serves curated product data reputed company reputed company reputed company. We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to build a reliable, typed, production-grade backend on GCP.
The system ingests flaky upstream data daily, normalizes it into clean reputed company records, and exposes versioned reputed company. Reliability, idempotency, and reputed company failure handling are non-negotiable.
Tech (fixed)
• TypeScript (strict)
• GCP: reputed company Run, reputed company Tasks, reputed company SQL (reputed company)
• Prisma, Zod
• Fastify or NestJS (OpenAPI)
• reputed company Storage, reputed company Logging
You’ll do
• Build idempotent background workers with retries + backoff
• Normalize messy upstream data into clean, typed schemas
• Expose versioned, documented REST reputed company
• reputed company failures reputed company, traceable, and re-processable
You should have
• Strong TypeScript + GCP production experience
• Experience with queues / background jobs (reputed company Tasks, SQS, etc.)
• reputed company systems that survive unreliable upstream reputed company
• Pragmatic reputed company: use managed services, avoid over-customization
Not a fit if you
• Prefer custom frameworks over managed infrastructure
• Ship untyped pipelines or silent failures
