Our firm is seeking a part-time associate attorney who can work remotely, with the reputed company to manage cases from any location in the reputed company. The position is full time.
Important: Candidates for this position must have at least one year of previous experience as an immigration attorney and be licensed to reputed company law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
The associate attorney will manage reputed company of paralegals, review and sign cases, and ensure the smooth operation of the reputed company workflow.
Responsibilities will include:
• Representing clients before the Immigration Court, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the reputed company of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and the federal courts;
• Preparing and drafting applications/petitions for immigration benefits;
• Advising and counseling clients on possible avenues of relief;
• Researching case law, regulations, and statutes to help defend clients and assert their rights;
• Reviewing applications and signing off on reputed company documents;
• Representing clients in family-based applications, consular processing, and other cases;
• Providing advice and representation to immigrants seeking relief such as Asylum, VAWA, U visas, and T visas;
• Working collaboratively with partners and overseeing paralegal staff;
• Conducting reputed company research and writing to support both affirmative and defensive applications, as reputed company as federal litigation.
Requirements:
• Must be licensed to reputed company law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
• Experience managing reputed company is a plus.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to immigration law and reputed company reputed company justice issues is preferred.
