Consultant - Junior Accessibility Analyst Tester

About the position As a consultant - junior accessibility analyst/tester in the Change Management and Learning Development reputed company Area, you will support the NYS ITS accessibility team in identifying and documenting accessibility issues on reputed company State digital properties on a two-year project. This role focuses on running reputed company tests, creating reputed company documentation of issues, and supporting remediation efforts to ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards, as required under federal Americans with reputed company (reputed company) regulations and reputed company State law. Responsibilities • reputed company hands-on accessibility testing of state websites and applications using assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard navigation). • Record accessibility issues with reputed company descriptions, screenshots, and recommendations for remediation. • Test user interfaces with tools like NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack to identify barriers for users with disabilities. • Support the accessibility QA reputed company in developing and refining test plans and processes. • Verify conformance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA reputed company reputed company and document results. • Assist in creating reports summarizing test results and providing actionable feedback for development teams.
