Fractional COO | Purpose-Driven Operational Right Hand
Are you someone who believes that business can genuinely make the world a better, more compassionate, and sustainable place?
Do you want your work to reflect that belief?
I’m a Scandinavian entrepreneur running multiple mission-driven initiatives focused on reconnecting people within broken social systems. My businesses are well-established in Scandinavia and are expanding internationally.
I’m seeking a Fractional COO who shares my vision of healing the world and can serve as my operational right-hand. This role is designed for someone who combines strong operational skills with a passion for meaningful work – someone eager to help bring transformative ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations and decision-making.
- Build simple and effective systems that create clarity and streamline processes.
- Coordinate teams, contributors, and partners; hire resources to fill any gaps where necessary.
- Turn big-picture ideas into structured plans and ensure follow-through.
- Support the founder directly with prioritisation, decision-making, and maintaining momentum.
- Keep projects aligned with our overall mission and values.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in operations, project leadership, or a COO-type role.
- Able to understand Scandinavian written communication with the help of translation tools. No Scandinavian speaking skills required.
- Organised, proactive, and able to perform steadily under pressure.
- Drawn to purpose-driven work, including sustainability, compassion, personal growth, and social impact.
- Comfortable working closely with a founder in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Skilled with digital tools (e.g., Notion, ClickUp, Google Workspace).
- Proficient in using AI to enhance efficiency and advance business initiatives.
- Have 8+ years of experience in a senior operations capacity with a proven track record. This is not a VA position.
- Possess a sharp eye for business development and experience scaling businesses across multiple platforms.
- Personable and friendly, able to work well with a diverse team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in coaching, education, well-being, or social impact spaces.
- Background in building or scaling systems from scratch.
This role is part-time, with flexible hours based on business requirements. We offer a generous performance bonus in addition to the hourly rate.
Please share:
- A brief introduction.
- Your relevant experience.
- Why this role resonates with you.
- Your availability and hourly rate.
Shortlisted candidates will receive a short video explaining the deeper purpose of the work before moving on to interviews.
