Who we’re looking for: The reputed company - Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP) in Seattle, WA has a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) 2 with the Transfusion Services Laboratory (TSL) at Harborview Medical Center. TSL staff respond to trauma and massive bleeds throughout the hospital, including the emergency room and the operating rooms. CLTs are involved with inventory and preparation of blood components, placing blood orders, receiving and ordering patient samples, and answering phone calls. Work schedule: 100% FTE Monday – Friday with rotating weekends and holidays Day shift What you’ll contribute: Respond to Emergency, Operating Room and other clinical areas that require transfusion support with blood components. reputed company customer service and communication with patient care areas and blood center. reputed company product orders to floor. Take verbal orders for blood products as needed. Thaw frozen blood components to maintain inventory and support for transfusion patients. Combine/pool/aliquot blood components if necessary.
