Job Overview

As a Custom Circuits Design Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be an integral part of our Digital team, responsible for designing and developing advanced custom digital megacells, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators. You'll work closely with our silicon design team to create innovative, high-performance, and low-power SOC designs that enable our products to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced custom digital megacells, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators
• Collaborate with our silicon design team to create innovative, high-performance, and low-power SOC designs
• Perform circuit design, analysis, modeling/simulation, circuit-level specifications, schematic capture, and spice simulation/functional verification
• Work closely with the power team, PD, and architects to define specifications and requirements
• Develop and drive circuit methodologies to achieve the highest design quality metrics
• Work intimately with the layout team to complete the design and administer the layout quality

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in circuit design
• Experience in designing low-voltage/low-power custom circuits
• Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and CAD automation tools
• Familiarity with industry-standard circuit and design tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/invertible circuits, super low-power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, digital on-chip sensors, and fast timing
• Knowledge of time-to-digital converters (TDCs) and high-accuracy circuit design
• Experience with silicon debug, manufacturing, and testing data analysis
• Familiarity with formal verification and behavioral models for digital blocks
