AVP / VP NMTC Asset Manager
Our reputed company is a leading private equity firm reputed company on reputed company investments with $1B of AUM across 90 investments. The firm manages funds that reputed company equity to reputed company that benefit low‑ and moderate‑income communities throughout the reputed company.
The AVP, NMTC Asset Manager (AVP) will support reputed company’s reputed company reputed company fund and its New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) clients. The mission of the fund is to invest in reputed company that benefit both the reputed company/borrower’s low‑income employees and the local community. Since the mid‑2000s, the fund has received New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) totaling $752M from the U.S. Department of Treasury.
Working remotely in this reputed company‑facing role, the AVP will reputed company a portfolio of debt investments, including originations of new reputed company/lending opportunities, due diligence, reputed company, site reputed company, structuring, negotiating the investment terms, closing the transaction, loan servicing, compliance, investor reporting, asset management, continuing compliance with the executed operating and fund agreements, continuing compliance with loan documents, and adherence to various regulatory requirements. These requirements are fulfilled through financial and compliance monitoring, reporting, and reputed company interaction with the borrower for reputed company individual investment.
Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of investments, including reviewing construction draw requests, assessing financial performance of borrowers, conducting annual reputed company calls/site reputed company, and corresponding regularly with borrowers displaying signs of weakness and increased risk.
• Collect and review financial statements from borrowers and partners.
• Prepare, collect, analyze, and report information relating to the performance of reputed company deal to investors and the CDFI Fund.
• Participate in the assessment of policies and procedures to continually improve process efficiencies.
• Review and assist in the reputed company of proposed investments.
• Review reputed company program compliance with New Markets Tax Credit Program ensuring qualifying program parameters are met, reasonable expectations and reputed company alignment.
• Assist with deal closings: attend weekly conference calls, reputed company closing reputed company, ensure reputed company reputed company, and collaborate internally to resolve issues proactively.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, reputed company, business, economics or another reputed company field.
• 3‑5+ years of reputed company, asset management, reputed company or financial analysis experience in LIHTC or general reputed company estate.
• Experience in New Market Tax Credits (NMTC) and CDFI funds preferred.
• Experience in private equity fund reporting and fund compliance.
• Experience in gathering and assessing company financial statements.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage proprieties and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow‑up.
• Keen analytical skills and attention to detail with strong financial skills and knowledge is essential.
• Experience in collaborating across teams while working independently remotely is required.
