Texas Licensed Research Accountant
A company is looking for a Research Accountant - Effort and Cost Transfer.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and ensure compliance of effort reporting and cost transfer processes for sponsored research projects
• Provide guidance and training on federal, state, and institutional policies related to expenditures and payroll allocations
• Review and process cost transfer requests, ensuring compliance with sponsor and institutional policies
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Two (2) years of related experience
• Prior experience in a research academic setting is preferred
• Familiarity with effort reporting and ERP/grant management systems is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
