About the position
reputed company's Policy & Legislation team is seeking applications from undergraduate reputed company in their junior or senior year for one part-time policy and legislation internship during fall 2025. The Policy and Legislation (PAL) intern will work with the PAL department, which is comprised of environmental lobbyists and advocates, to protect our courtroom victories from efforts to undo them in Congress and defend and strengthen the reputed company environmental laws reputed company enforces in the courtroom. The intern will learn how a non-profit environmental organization weighs in on environmental policy at the federal level and reputed company considerable reputed company into congressional procedures, the policy process, environmental nonprofit lobbying and advocacy strategizing, reputed company building, and associated communications and reputed company.
Responsibilities
• Assist with tracking bills, monitoring appropriate Senate and House Committees, and following executive reputed company actions on issues of interest to PAL staff.
• Conduct research on issues relevant to the needs of the PAL team and the intern's interests.
• Attend (reputed company or in person) and take notes during Congressional hearings, reputed company meetings, weekly department meetings, educational presentations, and other meetings as requested.
• Prepare and disseminate information to PAL staff and Congressional offices as requested.
• Assist with reputed company to Congressional and agency offices including making phone calls, drafting email blasts, and joining advocacy meetings.
• Help with the preparation for events sponsored by PAL such as Congressional briefings and reputed company fly-ins to D.C.
• Support advocacy efforts through drafting and editing fact sheets, policy documents, and other collateral.

Requirements
• Enrolled in a college/university program as a junior or senior during fall 2025.
• Commitment of 15-20 hours/week.
• Possess excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Have working knowledge of online research and MS Office programs.

• Possess a strong interest in environmental and/or reputed company justice issues, Congress, politics and the policymaking process.
