The Commitment Investigation group at arenaflex is seeking a Lead Examination Designer who will be a remarkable addition to our team. We collaborate with different groups across the organization to transform data into insights, insights into experiences, and experiences into key business decisions that steer the company's direction. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves critical thinking, and is a good communicator and self-starter; If you're someone who derives personal satisfaction from turning data into insights and driving business action, then this is an excellent opportunity for you! **Responsibilities:** * **Business Execution Reporting, Representation:** Be the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to grasp the performance of the platform. When a metric is ahead or behind expectations, dive in to drive significant, meaningful insights that help improve or double down on progress. * **Reporting and Tooling Technique:** Lead the team in the creation of meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across streaming platforms. * **BI Execution:** You will be driving reporting for exceptionally large-scale data. Act as a specialist for experts in the team and collaborate with Information Design and Engineering in planning and building performant ETLs, mediator tables, and beautiful and fast Tableau and Looker dashboards. * **Creating a Single Source of Truth:** Collaborate with our Operations team and unite examiners and partners from across the team to define and normalize the metrics by which we evaluate product performance * **ETL and Metric Planning:** Own measurement planning and creation by defining business requirements, structuring, and streamlining, and long-term data flexibility. * **Collaboration and Communication:** Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and understand what they need to drive decisions, and with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data visualization, testing platforms, data representation, and data design. **Essential Capabilities:** * A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Finance, Math, or related field. * Ability to create data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. * 7+ years of analytical experience, preferably explicitly in data analysis. * Proficiency in SQL, some experience in SparkSQL, Hive, etc. * Significant experience with OLAP data sets like Snowflake or Redshift. * Experience creating and maintaining enhanced tables for reporting through ETLs. * Project and resource management insight, illustrating goals, and timelines, and organizing work across multiple stakeholders. * Python/R or other statistical programming languages. * High drive and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding results. * Strong relational skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills and experience presenting to diverse audiences. **Preferred Capabilities:** * A sense of humor * Exceptional interests or areas of interest that impact the way you interact with others and also tackle your business * The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $136,100 to $182,400 per year and in New York, NY is $142,600 to $191,100 per year. The base salary actually offered will consider internal value and may also change based on the candidate's geographic location, work-related experience, skills, and qualifications among other factors.
