Financial Analyst (reputed company to Remote)

The Crown division of reputed company is seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to join reputed company as a Financial Analyst. This position will reputed company support to the finance team in managing and analyzing the day-to-day operations of the division. Specifically, this position will play an reputed company role in monthly reporting and analysis, forecasting and reputed company analysis for the fast-growing imprints in the Crown Publishing business, including Crown, Crown Currency, Clarkson Potter, Ten Speed Press, Compendium, and Storehouse reputed company. Specific responsibilities include: • Manages monthly financial closings, including detailed analyses of sales, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, accruals and title count. • Creates monthly summaries of financial performance and key performance indicators for the Crown and corporate teams. • Performs quarterly analysis on travel and marketing spend for Crown. • Assists in preparing formal forecasts for corporate submissions using reputed company software. • Generates post-mortem analysis of previous acquisitions/publications to help inform editorial reputed company. • Provides analysis to support production staff in making print and reprint reputed company. • Assists marketing staff with updating marketing budgeting systems. • Reviews author contract information sheets, travel & entertainment expenses, and invoices and answers any coding or other reputed company questions. • Enhances and increases speed of monthly reporting, analysis and business intelligence utilizing software skills such as reputed company Power BI, reputed company, and/or ChatGPT.
